Enchanted Garden

Enjoyed our morning at the monthly "garden painters" opportunity recently, sponsored by our U.U.church.  Donna generously opened her beautiful home garden to artists, and me a photographer, to be inspired to record the beauty in this space.

Her husband the gardener of this heavenly acre and she the artist, creating little niches of unexpected arrangements.

My friend Li will be leaving to stay with her daughter near LA for awhile..going to miss our Wed. trips to the fancy second hand stores and Library on Fri..Hope she's back before too long. .her little dogs are cute too.

Different beach in Goleta yesterday... Lovely.. More Mesa beach..quite a hike to get to the beach.  Winding log stairs down to the beach from the Mesa plateau. It was pretty much deserted until later in the day. We met some people on the trail coming down to the beach about 4:15 when we were leaving. It was nice..a bit overcast..that kept it from getting too hot.

We went for our first walk in the Goleta Butterfly grove on Sat.  We were a little late for the season, but it was a beautiful walk with my sweetie, Scott. The butterflies were scarce..the mustard was lovely in bloom though.
